Upcoming Events

As a charitable organization, our volunteers work with community, businesses, and groups to fundraise for equipment, vehicles, and supplies as well as to promote survival and safety programs.
Let’s work together to benefit all.

Our mission is to locate and bring home lost loved ones to families and to help our community during an emergency.

Our GSAR team proudly responds and assists the Nova Scotia Emergency Management Organization and Police agencies for searches and civil emergency response. We cannot activate ourselves. Our trained volunteers often work with other teams and multi-agencies to plan and coordinate effort. We also provide educational services to promote safety and survival while enjoying the outdoors.

We Need Volunteers.

Having a variety of available, trained Volunteers impacts the level of GSAR service in our community.
